This is an extensive document about the UBK project and my vision on Generative Art + Artificial Intelligence<\/strong>, there are some similarities between the UBK narrative and the evolution of technology that artists and collectors experience with the explosion of new technologies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ultra<\/strong>: going beyond what is usual or ordinary.

What unfolds when a technologically evolving life form interweaves with distinct facets of its environment? <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\nUltraBionika<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

With UBK (UltraBionika)<\/strong>, I am actively pushing the boundaries of narrative exploration that I started in my previous project UMK<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imagine a world where technology not only advances mechanically, but also adapts and changes in response to its environment.  <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\nUltraMechanika<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

That was the premise that defined the context and narrative of my project UMK (Ultramechanika)<\/a>, a long form generative collection dropped in Artblocks on May 1st,2023.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

UBK is strongly paired with UMK. Each output is built over an UMK piece. <\/strong>This synergy extends to the realm of lifeforms, ambient surroundings, and diverse biomes. As we peer into the horizon of evolution, a plausible progression emerges: envisioning the emergence of autonomous machines as precursors to the next evolutionary stride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UMK was crafted entirely using Javascript<\/strong> code, without additional images or textures. Functioning as an long-form generative collection, UMK orchestrates multiple algorithms in unison to culminate in the final artwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within UBK, the integration of A.I. image generation serves to fortify the storyline,<\/strong> enhance the ultimate visual output, and bestow upon the observer an opulent arrangement, inviting them to immerse themselves in the intricate nuances and unexpected contours, resulting in an experience of profound visual engagement<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Much like the progression of machines, UBK is conceived as an evolution of UMK.<\/strong> Here, AI technologies are integrated into the artwork, fortifying the narrative, deepening the context, and enriching the overall story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matching Gen-Art and AI<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Since I started exploring the realms of the image generation with AI, one of my goals was to build a 500+ pieces collection around a story<\/strong> or a narrative to give the viewers something to think about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After building many long form generative collections what I’m looking for is a set of pictures with coherence, diversity in compositions and rarities.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

AI is good drawing objects but not as good building compositions<\/strong>, playing with simmetries, negative space, palettes, or other aspects of the artwork creation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here’s where the hand of the artist<\/strong> can help adding some input images that defines the overall structure and composition to help and guide the AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

500+ pieces is big deal<\/strong>. Drawing a full set of input images is something that I’m not going to do manually, and here is where the generative art can help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a generative artist, I enjoy building algorithms that play with the layout, compositions, negative space and other aspects of the structure of an artwork. <\/strong>This allows me to create sets of images with the overall layout that I need. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My vision<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Using generative art to explore the layout and structure<\/strong> for long form collections, then adding AI image generation to reinforce the narrative <\/strong>and drive the final outputs to the aesthetic style that fits better with the concept<\/strong> behind the artwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am commited to take the best of the two technologies<\/strong> to build strong artwork and solid collections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
